You've probably started something like this before.

Maybe you bought a similar product, saved some tips on Pinterest, or made a list of goals that went exactly nowhere. Maybe this is one of the first real investments you have made for yourself in a while. Either way, you already know something is keeping you stuck.

This workbook is for the woman who is tired of explaining her own behavior and ready to actually understand it. The one who has tried to push through and keeps ending up in the same place.

It's not a vision board exercise. It is not a mindset reset full of affirmations and no action. It's a structured 7-day behavioral system built around the specific moment your pattern takes over.

If you keep starting and stopping, researching instead of acting, waiting for perfect conditions that never come, or prioritizing everyone else until there is nothing left for things that matter to you, this was built for you.

"There are so many products out there full of fluff, but this workbook is simple and effective. I was able to laser focus and actually stuck to a goal I've had for months. The power of small steps. Thank you to this author, truly." — Verified buyer

How it works

Before Day 1, you complete a Setup section that takes 30 to 60 minutes. You identify your self-sabotage style, choose one goal to work with, define your minimum, the smallest version of follow-through that still counts, and build your Interruption Plan for the moment things get hard.

Then you complete 7 days. Each day has one job: do your minimum, notice when your pattern shows up, and answer a short set of reflection questions. Each daily session takes 10 to 15 minutes.

Then you review. At the end of Day 7, you complete a post-week inventory covering what your pattern was protecting you from, where it showed up most consistently, and what changes from this point forward.

Seven days. Fifteen minutes a day. One pattern, finally visible.

The 6 self-sabotage styles covered in this workbook

Most people are a combination of two. This workbook covers all six, with a dedicated section for each one that names what the pattern is protecting you from, what it sounds like in your head, and a specific interruption strategy built for your style.

The Avoider Disappears before things get hard.
The Perfectionist Won't move forward until it's perfect.
The Overthinker Endlessly researches instead of deciding.
The Pleaser Puts herself last and calls it generosity.
The Rebel Blows up the plan before it can fail.
The Hider Waits in secret until she's "ready", but "ready" never comes.

You work with your style only. If you resonate with more than one, you work on them one at a time.

"I took the self-sabotage quiz through one of Aliyah's Substack posts, and I am so glad I did. I was hoping when she launched this workbook I'd be able to tackle more than one of my patterns. She overdelivered. From one perfectionist to the next, I see you." — Verified buyer

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from other self-sabotage workbooks? Most self-sabotage resources focus on mindset or motivation. This workbook focuses on pattern interruption. It identifies your specific style, names the moment your pattern activates, and gives you a concrete minimum and interruption plan built around how your specific pattern works, not a generic framework.

Do I need to know my self-sabotage style before I buy? No. The Setup section identifies your style before Day 1. If you want to find out first, take the free 3-minute quiz by clicking here

How long does it take each day? The Setup section takes 30 to 60 minutes before Day 1. Each daily session takes 10 to 15 minutes. The post-week review takes 20 to 30 minutes.

What format is this workbook? It is a PDF document with clickable interactive tabs and fillable fields for digital use. Optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Compatible with any device.

What if I miss a day? You come back the next day with the same plan. Missing a day is part of the data. It is not proof that you failed. It is actually information about where your pattern shows up. The workbook accounts for this.

For years, my biggest obstacle wasn't a lack of ambition or talent—it was me. I had a professional career people nodded at, but every time I got close to building something that actually mattered to my soul, I would quietly find a reason to talk myself out of it. I realized that wanting a different life wasn't enough if I was going to keep pulling my own emergency brake at the exact moment of execution. I built this workbook because I needed a real-world tool to stop getting in my own way, and to finally close the exhausting gap between what I knew I was capable of and what I was actually letting myself achieve.

The Self-Sabotage Pattern Breaker Workbook was created by Aliyah Vasquez, founder of Mid-Becoming, a Substack publication for women in the middle of rebuilding a life that actually fits.

Written from the middle, not the other side.
